Located in rural North Hampshire, Dever Valley Gundogs is owned and run by Kris Thompson and Nick Cook. As well as regularly picking up and beating with their dogs on a number of local mixed partridge and pheasant shoots, both Nick and Kris enjoy competing with their cockers and have achieved some very good results in field trials over the past few seasons, both having achieved wins in field trials and working tests.

In 2009 a second Meadowsedge bred cocker bitch, FTW Meadowsedge Crackerjack, trained and handled by Kris, won a novice trial, winning the Glamorganshire novice cocker back-to-back with her litter sister FTW Meadowsedge Comet. In 2010 Nick won the Midland Counties novice cocker with FTW Rowston Simone.

Nick is also a committee member and treasurer of the Meon Valley Working Spaniel Club.

Dever Valley Gundogs are now offering one-to-one training which can be tailored to your individual needs, from making a right start with your new puppy through to advice on handling for those aiming at competitions. Contact Nick or Kris to discuss your requirements. Suitably bred cockers are occasionally taken in for residential training.
